Isabelle creates dynamic, colourful abstract paintings from studio in Sydney, Australia.

Isabelle previously worked in international diplomacy and lived in France and Taiwan. The Chinese calligraphy she studied in Taipei - and figurative drawing while living in Paris -  have contributed to her unique visual language. The meaning behind her work is also influenced by spiritual traditions she observed, including Daoism’s ‘Wu Wei’, and Buddhist meditation and mindfulness.

Based in Sydney, she is inspired by the striking colours of the Australian landscape, the harbour and bushland by her studio.

Isabelle holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Teaching from the University of Sydney & Sciences Po Paris, and speaks French, social Chinese and Spanish. Her works are held in private collections internationally.
